FRIENDS OF CHSP 2012 CALENDAR OF EVENTS

SATURDAY FEBRUARY 25th:
Semi-Annual Book Fair at the Seaside Nature Center in CHSP 9-3 PM. Books may be donated by dropping them off Fri. Feb. 24th 10-1 PM at the Nature Center Auditorium. Food and homemde baked goods will be available. [MAP]
SATURDAY APRIL 14th:
Flea Market at the Seaside Nature Center parking lot in CHSP 9-3 PM. Clean items may be donated by dropping them off Fri. April 13th at the Nature Center Auditorium from 10-1 PM. In case of rain, the flea market will be held in the Auditorium. [MAP]
SATURDAY MAY 19th:
Youth Fishing Tournament for ages 15 and under at the fishing pier in CHSP 7AM-2PM. $10 entrance fee, T-Shirts to the first 50 tournament entrants. Prizes will be awarded. Rain date: Sunday May 20th. [MAP]
SATURDAY JUNE 2th:
National Trails Day 9:00AM – 1:00PM for trail clean up. Meet at the "Hawk Watch" Pavilion. All volunteers are welcome. [MAP]
SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 8th:
7th Annual "Chocolate Tasting" at the Biden Center in CHSP 1-4 PM. Admission is $5 for 6 tastings. Chocolate is homemade except for sugar free items. See samples of goodies. [MAP]
SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 15th:
2nd Annual Disc Golf Learn & Play; Come to learn, stay to play. $10.00 Registration fee 8AM-12noon. Play 9 hole round with disc golf professionals.
SATURDAY October 13th:
Annual Bird Seed Sale at the CHSP Maintenance Garage in CHSP 9-1PM. Advance bird seed order forms will be available at the Park Office, Seaside Nature Center, by downloading an order form from this web sight or by calling 302-858-6127. Orders must be in by Wednesday October 3rd. Members may take a 10% discount on seed orders. ***We carry only premium seed! [MAP]
SATURDAY OCTOBER 20th:
7th Annual "Wine,Cheese & Beer Tasting" at the Officer's Club in CHSP 4-6PM. Admission: $20 in advance and $24 at the door. Tickets available at the Park Office, Biden Center, Lewes Chamber of Commerce or call 302-858-6127. ***Note: Your ticket will be your entrance into the park. [MAP]
SATURDAY NOVEMBER 10th:
Annual Christmas Boutique and Book Fair at the Biden Center 9AM-3PM. Crafts, sweatshirts, T-Shirts, food and homemade baked goods will be available. Crafts & clean books may be dropped off Friday Nov. 9th 10AM-1PM at the Biden Center. [MAP]
