Chocolate Tasting
Every year since 2006 the Friends have conducted an annual Chocolate Tasting event in the Park. The public is invited to indulge their inner chocoholic by attending the event. Volunteer bakers prepare the homemade chocolate treats that are offered for sale. In addition the baked goods, items for sale include candy and sugar-free chocolate treats.
The admission fee includes coupons for a fixed number of tastings and additional coupons can be purchased for a nominal amount.
This event tends to attract repeat customers, many of whom stock up on goodies and freeze them for the future.

Funds obtained from the Chocolate Tastings currently go to the maintenance and expansion of the new Park Playground.
