2024 Annual Meeting: Saturday, March 9th. 9:00am – 11:00am at the Officers’ Club in the Park.
Coffee and donuts will be served at 9:00am until the meeting begins at 9:30.
The meeting will be hosted by Friends President, John Bracco, who will open the proceedings with a short review of the Friends programs, and accomplishments over the past year. John will also review our planned events and volunteer opportunities for 2024.
Sean Cain, Assistant Superintendent CHSP, will present a report on park activities through the year. including activity at some other Delaware state parks.
Friends Treasurer, Bob Callahan will present the treasurer's annual report for the year.
This will be followed by an election for our three open Board Member positions.
The meeting is, as always, a great opportunity to ask questions regarding the Park, and the Friends. All of us at the Friends are open to your suggestions too!
Friends Merchandise will be available for purchase at this event.
Our guest speaker this year will be Gary Liska of the Monarch Butterfly Food and Fuel Garden. He will speak to us about the annual migration of monarch butterflies, and the monarch butterfly feeding station that we will be building at the Biden Center this year. The annual Meeting is a free event, which is open to the public, but please note that Park entrance fees will be in effect.
