Fundraising for everyones' benefit...
FOCHSP members are active and enthusiastic, however neither of those attributes pay for playgrounds or bus rides for schoolchildren or much of anything else. In recent years, we have raised funds for significant improvements such as the installation and operation of the Osprey Camera, the second new bike barn, purchasing an ATV type vehicle for use by the Park's maintenance department, purchasing a new Point of Sale System for the Park office, purchasing handicapped beach wheelchairs and purchasing a copy machine and computer equipment for the Park office plus several new park benches.
Following are some of our fundraising activities. We hope you will consider helping us help to keep Cape Henlopen State Park a fun place for all.
Joining FOCHSP and becoming a "Friend" is a great way to financially support the work we do. Being a "Friend" also entitles you discounts on merchandise, invitations to special events and regular email updates about activities. You can join online or by mail.
The sale of "Friends" merchandise is another way that we raise money to support our efforts. It's also a great way you can show everyone that you're a supporter of Cape Henlopen State Park and to spread the word about our activities.
