National Trails Day will return June5th 2021National Trails Day is an annual event held on the first Saturday in June. It is part of a Nationwide event designed to broaden participation in such activities. Often outside groups such as scout troops or clubs arrange to participate, and we have additional projects to accommodate the efforts of the volunteers. To participate, simply show up at the Hawkwatch Picnic Pavilion in the Park at 9 am on the first Saturday in June. There, volunteers are split into groups to work on the various projects.
At noon on National Trail Day, the Village Improvement Association generously provides lunch for everyone at the Picnic Pavilion. Volunteers also receive a free commemorative Tshirt |
